1968 Pontiac Firebird 400 Ramair (1/25) (fs) This Pontiac Firebird is so hot it might just melt every other model off your shelf. Engineers at Pontiac designed a car with a 340 horsepower 6.6L V-8, then added inset hood scoops and extra air intakes on the engine so it would take longer to top out its rpm. The first generation Firebirds (1967-69) had a characteristic Coke bottle styling. Unlike its cousin, the Chevrolet Camaro, its bumpers were integrated into the design of the front end and its rear "slit" taillights were inspired by the Pontiac GTO.
